  • Do you take charter school funds?
Yes! We work with multiple schools in order to accept charter school funds. If your school is not listed on the enrollment form, please contact us and we can try to become vendors with your charter school. Please note, YOU are ultimately responsible for payment if your charter school does not pay or underpays.
  • What is your enrollment fee policy?
Each student is required to pay an annual enrollment fee. If a family is enrolling with more than one student, a family enrollment fee is required. This will hold your spot and commit you to the season. There are no refunds. The annual fee is paid during the enrollment process and covers the entire year (Aug - Aug) which includes our summer program. If a student starts mid year, the enrollment fee covers Jan - Aug of that year.
  • How do I pay for the program?
If you are using charter school funds, you will need to place an order with your school. Enrichment Certificates or Purchase Orders must be received before your student can attend. Please place your order in a timely manner to avoid missing any classes. If you are paying out of pocket, you will receive an invoice via email that will need to be paid in full prior to your student(s) attending the program. Monthly payments can be arranged. We accept cash, check, ApplePay, and credit cards* (*with an additional fee).
  • Do you offer sibling discounts?
Due to the limited number of spots available in each age group, we do not offer any sibling discounts. We do however offer a sibling/buddy discount during our seasonal programs.
  • Do you have a referral program?
Yes! If you refer a friend or family member (non sibling), you will receive a $75 credit towards your semester balance or towards another day during the current semester for both you and your referee!
  • What is your refund/cancellation policy?
Enrollment in our program is based on YEAR LONG, full season commitment (Aug/Sept - May). There are no withdrawals after Sept 1st for Fall Semester and Dec 20th for Spring Semester. We do not allow mid semester withdrawals. Should there be an extenuating circumstance, such as a family or medical emergency, we will discuss it with you and consider it on a case by case basis. In the event that class is canceled by weXplore, a makeup date will be held based on our scheduled makeup dates listed on our year calendar. We are NOT intended to be a day care program. Cancellations will be incurred due to weather and staff illness. We are very intentional about our leader staffing and assignments therefore in order to maintain the integrity of our program, we strive to keep the same assigned field leaders for each class day instead of bringing in substitutes.
  • What if there is inclement weather?
Due to our program being outdoors, we will experience different forms of weather. You must dress your child accordingly and pack extra clothing. In the event that any of the following are forecasted, a class cancellation or relocation and alternative field activities may be required: Lightning, Daytime Temperature of below 55 degrees or above 85 degrees, High wind advisory, Rain 50%+ for 5+ hours.
  • What if my child misses a class?
We do not refund or prorate for missed classes. Each student is allowed ONE (1) flex makeup day per semester in the case of illness, vacation or any other reason. In some cases we may allow a makeup for a max of two (2) missed classes to be used on our other program days during the current season only. Parents must fill out our absence request form in order to get approval at least 2 weeks in advance.
  • What is my child required to bring/wear?
Weather appropriate clothing/accessories are required. This includes layers, waterproof outer layer, closed toed shoes and a hat. Rainboots and rain gear is also required, as needed year round. Sunscreen is also encouraged. If your student arrives without the appropriate attire, they will not be allowed to stay. Please also pack an extra change of clothes as backup. Please have your student bring lunch, snacks and ample water. We do not allow food sharing due to food allergies and sensitivities.
  • What happens if I am late to pick up my child?
Late pickup is not allowed. If you are running late because of unexpected reasons, you will need to arrange for another class parent or person on your authorized pickup list to stay with your child or pick them up. After the first warning, a late fee of $1 per minute will be charged at pickup on the day incurred. If not paid at pickup, your student will not be allowed to be dropped off again until balance is paid.
  • Is your staff background checked?
YES! Safety is our top priority so we require each of our staff members and anyone that comes in contact with the class be Live Scanned with the DOJ and FBI.
